Different backgrounds. Shared values. The same core principles. The five people behind BrocklebankPenn bring a brilliant diversity of experience and knowledge to the business, with a mutual commitment to making it all available to every client, all the time. We have established BrocklebankPenn to make sure our clients always get direct, honest dialogue with the key people driving each project.
Peter Brocklebank: Founder & Managing Director
10 years client side: Peter has held senior buying and marketing positions within the consumer electronics and IT sectors, working on retail and reseller strategies with Hewlett Packard, Toshiba and Sony to name just three.
11 years agency side: Founding Partner of Bluemoon 11 years ago, where, with a detailed understanding of the market and channels involved, Peter delivered successful multinational campaigns for numerous blue chip clients. Now the Managing Director of BrocklebankPenn and the driving force behind new business.
Clients: Logitech, Trend Micro, NETGEAR, and LG.
Personal: Passionate about family, friends and of course BrocklebankPenn. When not being kept busy by his baby twin boys, Peter can be found cycling somewhere up a hill in London (or running down it).
Craig Penn: Founder & Director of Strategy and Planning
12 years client side: Having held senior roles and become a leading innovator in brand and product strategies, Craig launched over 1,000 new products to deliver completely new technologies.
11 years agency side: A founding partner of Bluemoon 11 years ago, Craig spent his time using his knowledge and experience to launch brands, products and technologies into new markets for unaware consumers. Craig now leads the thinking behind BrocklebankPenn.
Clients: JVC, Sony, Logitech, Emirates NBD, and LG.
Personal: An avid football fan, an avid family man and of course an avid BrocklebankPenn fan. Loves to be with friends and to travel, preferably doing both at the same time!
Jon Pollard: Founder & Director of Digital Strategy
A life before agencies: Jon has a history of producing news, education and business programmes in ‘old media’, mostly for the BBC – having worked on their very earliest online ventures.
13 years agency side: Delivering unique, award-winning online solutions in pure digital and integrated agencies, and building top-quality international businesses along the way.
Clients: British Airways, Oracle, Adobe, Sony, The Financial Services Authority, Virgin Atlantic, and Unilever.
Personal: An unashamed geek (technology, games, sci-fi – you name it), foodie and cinephile (previous life as a film critic). Jon also enjoys travelling and exploring new places.
Gary Brine: Founder & Executive Chairman
A well-known figure in the marketing industry, Gary founded Gyro, the world’s largest B2B marketing agency - sold for $120m in 2008. Now with a range of diverse business interests, Gary is keen to be involved in a new super-experienced agency.
With a reputation for being a straight talker and creative thinker, Gary brings clear focus and clarity of vision to the team at BrocklebankPenn, as well as his invaluable experience in growing agencies into internationally recognised brands.
Personal: An accomplished sportsman, Gary is an ex-professional ice-hockey player and currently a member of the GB triathlon team.
Martyn Lambert: Founder
Martyn is an internationally experienced board-level executive with proven success as a Chief Marketing Officer and Global Vice President of Sales and Product Management functions in both enterprise and small business hi-tech operations.
Currently Head of SMART CMO EMEA and CEO of Loddon Hill Marketing Practice, Martyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board of BrocklebankPenn. Martyn has held senior positions on the client side with some of the largest and most prestigious brands in IT including Avaya, Dell, Sun Microsystems, and HP.
Personal: An ex-squash player, enthusiastic (!) though somewhat amateur golfer and a passionate supporter of Welsh rugby.
